Sam Pidoux chats to PR alumni

This post has been a while in the writing for all kinds of poor excuses, but now it’s here!

Back in February the Lincoln School of Journalism – well Sam Pidoux and the University’s alumni team – organised a get together between the old folks and the current folks.

It was an afternoon of master classes with those now out in the big bad world of work and then an evening social where we could meet up again, remember the good times, laugh at the ‘in jokes’  and pass on tips to those about to look for jobs and placements.

For the PR team we had 2010 alumni Janey Spratt talking about her experiences since leaving Lincoln and particularly about her current role at 33Digital where she works alongside 2009 alumni David Clare.

What did make me smile was the number of journalism students who were keen to hear about how to cross to the darkside!
